I ordered this perfume for my birthday as a gift to myself. As soon as it arrived I noticed the box looked like something you’d buy from a fake holiday market. I didn’t want to believe this as I thought this was a legitimate website. So I checked the batch code on the bottle, and it did not match up to the code on the box. I then checked the checkfresh website and the manufacturers dates did not match up to what was on the box either. I also contacted Paco Rabanne who confirmed that this company is not an approved seller of their products, and they also do not even make this travel set spray that was sold to me. Paco Rabanne are currently investigating this counterfeit product in order for me to be able to claim a refund.

Customer service from the company has been very poor, by the looks of it it’s just one guy called Sam replying to every single email with copy and paste messages that state that everything they sell is 100% genuine, obviously not as I wouldn’t be going through all this hassle. After the automated responses i decided to write a review on trust pilot with my honest experiences. I then had a private text message at 8pm in the evening from the company owner called Chris, asking me to contact him to discuss my review. So he wasn’t interested in the emails I sent prior, was only interested in this review being taken down to protect the image of his business. I thought this was a bit weird as I have never given permission for my telephone number to be used to contact me, usually a professional company would email you in regards to any queries so that was giving red flags. Obviously just a couple a guys in a box office selling dodgy perfumes.

After informing them that I was going to be reporting them to trading standards and a Legal Ombudsman in regards to my consumer rights, they did eventually reply stating that I could return the perfume for a refund, IF THE PRODUCT HASNT BEEN OPENED. Doesn’t take a genius to work out that I would have had to open the product in order to discover that it was a counterfeit product. After another few emails back and forth, they then offered me to send it back so they could send the perfume off to the manufacturer for it to be checked, So my options are very limited as how am I suppose to trust this company that they will follow through? It’s been an absolute nightmare from the beginning, so my advice to you would be if you’re looking to buy genuine perfumes, go to a high street retailer to save yourself the hassle.

Also ordered another perfume Beyoncé Rise, just added it into my basket as I saw it was on offer. This didn’t appear to be a fake but smelt like rotten P**s. So by the looks of it, they are also stocking old rotten perfumes that haven’t been stored in the right temperatures as the perfume smells completely gone off
